Reflections Art Program: Students are invited to submit original works in literature, visual arts, photography, music composition, dance choreography or film inspired by the theme "Beauty Is ...." Entries are due Nov. 13 in Mrs. BB's office and entry forms are available from Mrs. BB, or your Visual Arts, Music or Language Arts teachers.
To help spark the creative process, students may attend the Visiting Artist Teen Club on Oct. 20 where they will meet and work with Frederick artist Vince Coates to create their own canvas masterpieces with acrylics. Sign up and get permission slips in the Media Center by Oct. 16.
Or come to the Coffeehouse Open Mic on Nov. 3 to share an original poem, short story, song or rap with friends over hot chocolate and cookies. Sign up and get permission slips in the Media Center by Oct. 30.
