Walking Distances to Change
Because school office staffs are typically very familiar with their communities, FCPS asks parents to direct inquiries about non-transported areas to the school.
Starting August 2009, FCPS will return to the non-transported distances that were in place two years ago.

The FCPS Transportation Department has re-evaluated pre-2007 walking paths to ensure consistency with the revised policy.

The FCPS Transportation Department suggests that students walking from Clover Hill 2-East, North Crossing, and Willow Brook use the recommended path listed below:
- Christopher Crossing
- Left on Opossumtown Pike
- Left on Rainbow Lane
- Left on Lookout Lane
- Left on Indian Summer Lane
- Right on Morning Dew Lane
- Right on Hayward Road
- Left on Opossumtown Pike
